How Quick Judgments & Lack of Empathy Crushing Vulnerabilities

I don’t know if this will be posted, but I really wanted to share my thoughts after reading many stories and comments. What scares me the most isn’t the stories, but the comments. Many people are quick to judge without understanding the pain behind them. Everyone has likely experienced low points at least once in their life for different reasons and may have turned to things or people who showed them a little care as a way to cope.

There are some deeply emotional and caring individuals who may have never experienced the love they desperately crave. Sometimes, posting a story here is a way for someone to unburden themselves, to let go of the weight they’ve been carrying. But instead of offering support, some people responded with judgment, making the author feel even worse. Let’s be more supportive and less judgmental. I hope that after reading this, at least one person will think twice before making someone feel worse.

Show empathy. Some people may seem carefree on the outside because that’s how they’ve learned to survive in this cruel world, but no one knows the internal struggles they face. Don’t be the reason for someone’s sadness. Be the reason for their smile. Gandhi didn’t bring independence to India on his own. It was the unity of all Indians that led to our independence. For a change to happen, it might start with one person, but the result comes only when everyone unites.

Even I’m not sure I won’t be judged for writing this, but that’s the reality of the world we live in. Let’s try to make the world a better place by showing kindness and empathy towards each other, starting from our own homes.
