But again, he was caught on those matrimony platforms, and I went back to him once more. After a year, he came to my house one fine Sunday and told me he wanted to marry me.
Everything seemed fine until he started ghosting me, saying, “You are very rich, I can’t match your standards, so let’s not continue.” Then, I found out he had started talking to another girl 3-4 days before coming to my house, and they had planned to get engaged within a month. I found out about all of this, confronted him, and now I’m not in contact with him. Once a cheater, always a cheater.
I had also financially supported him, giving him over 10 lakhs of my hard-earned money. So now, although I’m done with him, should I ask him for the money back? He never took me out for a fancy dinner, nor did he buy me any gifts or spend a penny on me.
Well it’s very sad to hear what happened to you. If you gave him money via online (i.e., UPI, imps) kind of them yes, you can reach out to a lawyer and explain your situation and take his help to get as much as amount you can get back from him. If you gave him via hand cash, you need some proof that he only took from you else your money doesn’t come back to you.
